MASALA DISHES (mild)

One of the most popular dishes throughout the country. Succulent pieces of Chicken or Lamb marinated in yoghurt with special spices barbecued in a clay oven. Cooked with coconut powder, almond powder & fresh cream and sugar.




PASSANDA DISHES (mild)
A delightful mughal dish, specially cut pieces of chicken or lamb marinated with yoghurt based sauce and cooked with coconut powder & almond powder with fresh cream and sugar.




PESHWARI DISHES
Marinated chicken or lamb grilled over charcoal and cooked with fried onions, green peppers and various selected spices




KORAI DISHES
Medium hot marinated chicken or lamb. Roasted in a clay oven. Cooked with onions, green peppers and garlic. Served in an iron wok, slighlty dry




JALFRAZI DISHES (fairly hot)
Marinated chicken or lamb grilled in a clay oven, cooked with fried onions, green peppers, fresh green chillies, spicy but dry consistancy compared to madras.




REZALA DISHES (fairly hot)
Shredded marinated tandoori chicken cooked with fried onions, green peppers, fresh green chillies, spices & herbs.




TANDOORI SPECIALITIES
Succulent pieces of chicken, lamb or king prawns marinated in yoghurt with specially selected spices. Grilled in a clay oven. Giving the tantalising tandoori taste. All tandoori specialities served with salad and mint sauce.

JAIPURI DISHES
Fairly hot, diced chicken or lamb cooked with a boiled egg & spices. Topped with yoghurt.




GARLIC DISHES
Marinated chicken or lamb. Roasted in the clay oven and then cooked with whole cloves of garlic, green peppers and onions with carefully chosen spices and herbs.




KORMA DISHES (mild)
A very mild dish, a preperation of mild spices in which fresh cream, almond powder and coconut powder are used to create the delicacy of its flavour and creamy sweet texture.




MALAYA DISHES (mild)
A mild dish cooked with mild spices, pineapple with a touch of coconut powder & fresh cream.




KASHMIRI DISHES (mild)
A mild dish cooked with mild spices & lychees with a touch of coconut powder & fresh cream.




CURRY DISHES
Medium hot, chicken off the bone mixed with various spices to produce a very saucy and tasty dish.




MADRAS DISHES
A fairly hot dish, a South Indian version of dishes found in Central and Eastern India, having a greater proportion of tomato puree and oriental spices and herbs which gives a fiery richness to its flavour.




DHANSAK DISHES
Fairly hot, a combination of spices, lentils and garlic cooked together to provide a sweet and sour taste. Slightly dry consistancy.




CEYLON DISHES
Fairly hot like madras, but cooked with coconut powder in a thick sauce with touch of lemon juice to give that extra sour flavour.




PATIA DISHES
Fairly hot, sweet and sour, cooked in well spiced thick sauce.




VINDALOO DISHES
Very hot. Vindaloo is similar to madras but hotter, cooked with potato.




PHALL DISHES
Phall is extremely hot. Cooked with hot Chilli powder.




DUPIAZA DISHES
Medium hot, prepared with fried chopped onions, green peppers, well spiced with a thick sauce.




ROGON JOSH
The character of the dish is derived from tomatos and onions fried in a spiced oil in a manner which produces a dish of medium strength.




BHUNA DISHES
A well spiced dish, a combination of spices and herbs fried together to produce a dish of medium hot and dry consistency.




BALTI DISHES
An authentic dish originating from the region of Baltistan. Balti is medium hot, marinated grilled chicken, lamb or king prawns cooked with specially prepared home made sauce. Served with a naan bread.




BIRIANI DISHES
Birianis consist of special fried rice, garnished with tomato, cucumbers, sultanas and served with a vegetable curry. Medium hot, can be adjusted to individual taste.

A main course of vegetables. Any vegetarian dishes which are not included on the list can be made on request.

Served with starter, onion bhaji, dall masala, bindi bhaji, vegetable curry, mushroom rice & naan bread. Served in small dishes.
